The capsules and ingredients used in this laboratory formula are identical to the prescription formula for humans, but are labelled for experimental use as directed by federal law. This laboratory version does not require a doctor's prescription because it is labelled for experimental use and intended to be used in laboratory research scenarios. Just like the prescription version, these capsules contain 36mg of USP grade Ivermectin mixed with USP grade excipient (maltodextrin) safely enclosed in vegan capsules.

This encapsulated format legally allows researchers to handle a safely enclosed, accurately diluted formula in small quantities for use as an experimental antiparasitic in laboratory or experimental environments without an EUP registration, in accordance with EPA regulations as detailed in U.S. Code Title 40.
